Over 56 years ago, the Columbus Community Center opened their doors with the sole intention of creating a world more inclusive for children with developmental disabilities. Workplace Heroes is one of the ways we celebrate the remarkable individuals whose lives have been impacted in profound ways. The HUB of Opportunity
The HUB of Opportunity is a community-based, mixed-use development that brings together a unique combination of community services, workforce development opportunities, and community living for individuals with disabilities.
The hallmark of the Hub is the innovative NextWork Academy of Independent Living, a live/learn program for young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
The Hub provides 156 units of much-needed accessible, affordable housing.
